Flowell Introduction
Do you have a wellhead where the build-up of paraffin wax precipitation is causing you a multitude of problems? YES? Well read on!
FloWell has been developed for remediating paraffin wax precipitation at the wellhead by returning it to liquid phase and then maintaining it in this state on its journey downstream.
A wellhead operation can be totally cleaned of the build-up of paraffin wax precipitation in less than 24hrs and can be as little as 4hrs (depending on level of contamination). Unlike other cleaners that require the wax released with other contaminents to be isolated and removed, the wax becomes part of the saleable hydrocarbon stream and not dumped in ponds for later processing.
FloWell is a proprietary blend of natural solvents and surfactants. The surfactant is the natural emulsifier, it is non hazardous, non chlorinated and does not contain any fluorocarbons, it is the perfect substitue for xylene which is extremely hazardous and often detested by the onshore/offshore industry because of the high risks xylene poses.
FloWell requires no special handling requirements apply because FloWell does not have a flash point, it is NON-FLAMMABLE. FloWell is NON-TOXIC. FloWell is rated HAZMAT 0. Always adhere to COSHH and MSDS Data.
FloWell is “Quote” "Not classified as dangerous goods under relevant international transport regulations (ADR, RID, IATA, IMDG Refer Section 16 “Definitions”). USA Federal Regulations: Non-hazardous OSHA 174 Section 1986. Packing requirements are specified in steel / plastic containers. Non-Hazardous Material Ships under US code 55 for food grade materials"
FloWell DOES NOT require additional heat to make it work or maintain the wax in the liquid phase. FloWell is entirely able to clean the assets alone.
FloWell in a “preventative” application will prevent wax precipitation all the way to the refinery.
FloWell has the scope to aid production both up and down stream. Starting with down hole/stream methodology FloWell can provide stimulation by removing oil base and water mud residue blocking valuable formation porosity, when treated oil is allowed to access the depths of the well.
FloWell also has the effect of improving flow as it assists with remediating the viscosity of the oil allowing for reduced power input and providing better flow for and improved production even more so when used as a “preventative” application.
Spills of FloWell require NO special factors and can be safely washed down to enter the environment.
After FloWell has been applied clients have reported increases in production from 20% and one well has been reported with an increase of over 75%. (this has since been exceeded and we are awaiting data)
FloWell has a proven case of a well having an ROI (Return of Investment) of 2 days or less!
As an added value FloWell is unique because it is reported by clients as being highly efficient at separating oil from water so where a customer has particularly high water content with their oil, production benefits using FloWell as part of a “preventative” regime. Separators should become more efficient.
Remember, Wax becoming precipitation is the start of the problem, Precipitation “Flocculation” is the major problem. Without precipitation Flocculation is eliminated. FloWell “corrective” application clears Flocculation by returning precipitation to liquid phase. FloWell “preventative” application stops the whole process by maintaining wax in the liquid phase.
Notes: “corrective” application is when FloWell is applied as a once only periodic treatment “preventative” application is where FloWell is added by controlled dosage consistently at the wellhead
When used throughout this document, the word “flocculation” is applied according to the IUPAC definition, flocculation is "a process of contact and adhesion whereby the particles of a dispersion form larger-size clusters."
